SCHWIMMBAD+SAUNA, the magazine for wellness culture, has awarded the pool and wellness prize GOLDEN WAVE 2022!
On March 31, 2022, Germany’s leading pool and wellness magazine SCHWIMMBAD+SAUNA, published by Fachschriften-Verlag in Fellbach, presented the award for the first time.
GOLDEN WAVE innovation award for the 9th time.

The “Multimedia Pool” from Aqa Steel in Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna received an award. With the “multimedia pool” from Aqa Steel, the images run on the pool floor. It is made of glass and acts as a screen. You can watch moving sea life, the exciting Champions League final or simply watch pictures while bathing and swimming – across the entire pool floor.
Technical Innovation
Technological innovations that significantly advance pool and spa construction
The GOLDEN WAVE 2022 goes to Aqa Steel from Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna for the “Multimedia Pool”. The technical innovation consists of visualizing and streaming images, texts and videos and displaying them on the pool floor or pool walls. These consist of 2 panes of laminated safety glass and PVB films, which can bend up to 45 mm.
